BIO
Tim Dilbeck was born in Glendale, CA and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is now living in Los Angeles where he is pursuing his dream of becoming a professional artist. For over 25 years he dedicated his life to competing, performing, and teaching Martial Arts. He earned the Rank of 5th Dan in the art of Tae Kwon Do and title of Kwan Jang Nim (Master instructor). Although Tim has been an artist his whole life it wasn't until about 4 years ago, at the suggestion of a friend, that he began to show his work publicly. It all started in the art community of Santa Clara where he first participated in a group show at Studio Bongiorno. Tim has since become an active artist at the award-winning gallery, showing regularly, doing live paintings, and even curating a group show. Very quickly, Tim became known for his own bold and cryptic calligraphic style of painting. Today, he continues to expand and mature this style.
